Objectives
TEG was tasked with the project management of a major development at a biscuit factory including:
- 6000 m2 factory extension, and
- 700 m2 Raw Materials Warehouse.
- Concrete dough room floor capacity
- The total value of the building works was $ 8m
Challenges
- Obtaining resource consent and building consent in the required timeframes. Timeline required from capital approval to first production less than 12 months.
Results
The build completed on time and to the highest standard. Material selection led to substantial savings while still providing an outstanding standard of finish. The facility complied with Baking Industry standards to the highest grade.
