Lion Machine Risk Assessments
Objective
TEG Risk was commissioned to facilitate Machinery Risk Assessments (MRA’s) in accordance with AS4024 on six machines at a Lion processing site.
The study involved the identification of all the hazards that may be encountered throughout the operating life-cycle of the machine and evaluating the level of risk, the required risk reduction category and identifying what further actions were required to ensure ‘All Practicable Steps’ have been taken.
Results
The Machine Risk Assessment process delivered to the client a risk register for all Fatal Risk and Serious Harm machines which has enabled a capital works programme to be developed to address the risks with interim or final control measures.
