Goodman Fielder Machine Safety (17 sites)
Objectives
Goodman Fielder commissioned TEG to undertake a comprehensive review of all machinery across 17 manufacturing sites. This review included risk assessment against the AS4024 standard, evaluation of required remedial work, assessments of completed remedial work, estimating remedial work costs and prioritising future remedial work. New equipment has also been assessed so a master machinery safety register has been completed. The scope of the review covered approximately 1100 machines across all sites and involved over 1900 individual hazards.
Results
TEG have worked closely with the sites coaching staff around the requirements of AS4024 and providing advice on potential design solutions to bring equipment up to current AS4024 standards.TEG has undertaken review and validation of the completed installations.
