Meadow Lea Case Packing, Robotic Palletizing & Stretchwrapping
Objectives
Goodman Fielder’s Meadow Lea plant tasked TEG with undertaking scope definition and implementation of a case packing and robotic palletizing solution. Product from the continuous and batch margarine plants was delivered to the system on six lines and required case packing and palletizing. The total project value was $ 2.5m.
Challenges
- The available factory area was very minimal.
- Handling liquid tubs of margarine
Results
The project was successfully delivered on time, under budget and achieved the required benefits.
