Objectives
TEG were selected to provide Meadow Lea with project engineering and project management of a new filler and case packing in its’ batch production plant.
The project scope included:
- New filler and case packer
- Outer case change-over to wrap around cases.
- Tub conveying and accumulation
Challenges
- Extremely tight manufacturing are in which filler must be located
- Conveying and accumulating of tubs with liquid margarine
Results
The project achieved the business case labour and packaging savings and was delivered under budget, on time and without incident.
